Does the Universe have an end? If it does, what's there?

I don't mean, what will happen when the universe will be destroyed, but does it go on forever and if it doesn't, then what is at the limit? Black holes? wormholes to other times? things we can't guess? If you could answer this, I'd be very grateful.
