When will Intersteller Travel become a reality?

Somewhat over a thousand years from now. Wormholes will be the main way to travel but hyper-space technology will be another. Wormholes only allow matter to travel through them in the form of energy. Hyper-space allows relatively shorter distance traveling for matter in its present state. Wormholes require the transformation of matter into its energy and back again but hyper-space requires the bending of the fabric of space itself like a surfer or ship carried by the waves of the sea. Both methods would allow persons to reach their destination faster than the speed of light. Wormholes actually moves energy beyond the speed of light but hyper-speed is more like a short-cut that gets matter there faster than light but without breaking the speed of light barrier.
